This Patu is one of a kind for us. The only white Italian Marbel Patu that has a light brown vein running through it. What makes it extra special is the cord binding around the handle. This patu can come with a base that may have up to 3 words engraved.

Mere or Patu were originally used by Māori in hand-to-hand combat. They were also utilized as an everyday tool for cutting and striking object. These sacred ancent Māori Taonga symbols of mana (authority), status, cultural identity, and important relationships.
